Celebrate the fastest wings in Haliburton with these sweet hummingbird tees. (As always I made the artwork myself too!)
The Lilac has an elegant boaty-crew-shaped neck. The Sage has a three-pointed V-neck. Both necklines are delicately finished with a narrow band and fine topstitching.
Back is 1" longer than the front, front and back hems are curved for a softer silhouette.
I'm 5'4" wearing size XS, bust 34" waist 27" hip 38.5". To see it on a larger figure, check out my Salamander Tees which are the same cut.
Lilac is 95% Organic Cotton 5% Spandex, the Sage is 95% Cotton 5% Spandex - I've called this colour "Sage" but it has a bluey tinge to it. Sometimes it appears more green, sometimes more blue...
Both fabrics originate in Turkey, I imported them from Dutch wholesaler Nooteboom.
Machine was cold, hang dry. You'll notice this shirt is cut long because I expect about 1" of shrinkage in the length after washing. This fabric does exceptionally well in the dryer, however, as with all screen-printed apparel, repeated trips through the dryer will break the ink down faster (cracking may become apparent).
As always, I designed, drafted, cut, printed and sewed this t-shirt in my home-based workshop at 1415 Old Donald Rd, Haliburton ON.
